Networks considering a new reality show featuring NCAA Commisioner Myles Brand.
Show to feature comical pranks against America's most beloved athletes.
The networks are considering a new reality show featuring NCAA commissioner Myles Brand.
The show will be similar to MTV's Punk'd in which Ashton Kutcher played pranks on unsuspecting celebrities. In the NCAA version, Brand will travel the country and unleash comedic hijinks on student athletes.
One of the early pilot plots involves Brand telling Gold Medal Skiier Jeremy Bloom that he must choose between playing college football or representing his country... Bloom is forced to make a decision, and the audience will be left on edge as he agonizes between his choices... pure genius.
Audiences were rolling with a second episode featuring a guest appearance by NFL Commisioner Paul Tagliabue. In that episode Brand has USC superstar Mike Williams undergo a series of diabolical challenges - these include passing Cinema classes, firing his agent, and repaying $100,000 in hopes of regaining his eligibility.
Once Williams completes his challenges, Brand unleashes what is sure to become his "You're Fired!" tagline - "you still can't play, bitch".
Seen as this year's The Apprentice, the new Myles Brand reality show is sure to be a big hit. When asked where he got the ideas for his episodes, Brand credited them to having a job that really doesn't involve much work, and late night sessions of snorting cocaine off of NFL commisioner Paul Tagliabue's cock
